Oranges are one of the most powerful sources of vitamin C. They help to keep the immune system healthy and prevent disease, including heart disease. Try to eat an orange a day instead of drinking its juice; our bodies benefit more from eating the whole fruit.

Orange You Glad You Ate Breakfast Bowl (serves 2)

1 orange, peeled and sliced
1 apple, diced
1 banana, peeled and sliced
1 lime, juiced
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup raw walnuts roughly chopped
3 tablespoons raisins

Add all ingredients to a large mixing bowl. Toss everything well and then distribute into smaller bowls.

Orange "Open Sesame" Dressing

3-4 seedless oranges, peeled
1/2 cup unhulled sesame seeds
1/8 cup low sodium miso paste

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Use as a salad dressing, marinade, or dip for sliced vegetables.
