FlaxseedFlaxseed

These tiny, powerful seeds can help to prevent certain types of cancer, lower cholesterol, protect our hearts, and prevent other diseases. Try adding it to oatmeal and cereals, salads, smoothies, and other dishes. Remember that flaxseed must be ground before eating in order to be digested. You may want to store it in the fridge or freezer to help lengthen its shelf life.
